| The Quad City Engineering and Science
Council annually sponsors one-time scholarships to high school seniors or
college freshman and sophomores studying engineering or science at an
accredited four-year college or university. Applicants must be be a
resident of Mercer, Rock Island, Henry, Whiteside, Clinton, Scott,
Muscatine, or Louisa County. In 2012, nine scholarships totally $15,500 were awarded at the 50th QCESC Annual National Engineers Week Gala Banquet held on March 1, 2012 at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa.
